I don't believe that ^^^ post. You don't need a "firearms license" to buy a shotgun. You need a concealed carry permit or a pistol purchase permit to purchase a handgun, but very few handguns are shotguns besides the shitty and incredibly pointless, over-hyped Taurus Judge. Oh and if you bought a Taurus Judge, you wouldn't call it a shotgun. I feel safe in the assumption that this is a long gun and in that case, you don't need a "firearms license".

That means the claim that they bought a shotgun is bullshit and thus the rest of it is probably bullshit or an exaggeration as well.
