i've seen sports used as a singular noun. it's not common, but it's also not necessarily incorrect.

i love how espn is trying to get on the SABR bandwagon (though not doing a very good job) and all the hosts and ex players on baseball tonight do is mock it

I really wish ESPN would talk about Jets camp some, I mean who wouldn't want to hear more about a mediocre NFL team with one of the worst starting QBs and a backup who should be playing fullback?

was she actually fired? I know they removed her from CFB games but thought they were keeping her on for other stuff.

Fifty bucks we get stuck with her or her doppleganger, Beth Mowins, during the either the Big 10 Challenge or another early season OOC game

Espn ranking basketball programs

35 teams have won a Natl champ, 14 have more than 1, yet State is ranked 43.

They also give more pts for "reg season champ" than "conf tourney champ" even though there is no such thing in Conf's like ths ACC, and Reg season champ used to not even get you a NCAA appearance and still doesn't for most Conf's

So this means I won't be getting rid of Directv in favor of strictly streaming, Apple TV, and an antenna...correct??

http://deadspin.com/5938857/espn-prepping-its-talent-for-a-twitter-*********-after-deciding-to-no-longer-air-must+watch-games-on-espn3

This means I won't be able to watch all big events they use to show streaming....fuckers.

Let me preface this by saying that I hate Skip Bayless and his stupid, stupid schtick, but....

Jeter probably is juicing or taking HGH, or some other similar substance that they can't currently test for.

Dude looks the same as he did when he was 20, he's suddently regained his old form after a couple of down years, and he has suddenly after a brief downturn at age 35 regained the form at the plate that he had at age 30, only now with fewer strikeouts.

You don't think that's a tad bit suspicious, especially with the Yankees history of steroid users in the clubhouse?

You mean former Yankee Melky Cabrerra?

PED use is still rampant in baseball, thinking a guy who is still putting up the same numbers at age 38 that he did at age 28 might be using something is not some crackpot theory.

If MLB actually kept samples and used new testing on them as it became available you would see a massive increase in the number of positive tests. It's always a race between the drug producers/users and the testers. MLB has such a milquetoast testing policy that it's not surprising there are still relatively few positive tests and suspensions.

I do know Heineken likes to blatantly steal shit and make their own videos, like they did with Jaan Pehechaan Ho

hahahahaha watching the kinda hot reporter on sportscenter interview Kevin Ogletree today

she goes "when the adrenaline wore off from last night's game what's your reaction to the sex you were able to have last night".

she meant to say success. After she says it she realizes it and just has this coy smile while she flashes her DSL's.

Hilarious
