i just played for the first time... it took me a while to get the hang of it..quickly went to level 5.

i'm best with the mk5 and steadyhead or whatever it is..increases accuracy when shooting from the hip...

what sensitivity do you guys keep it on? Right now I have it at a level 8.. the default was way too slow

one thing i've learned about multiplayer is to be patient..
i used to be trigger happy and start blasting as soon as i saw someone

now i'm much more likely to try and sneak up on them and knife them.

gameservers just updated and sorta fixed the lag, but I'm still getting hella lag spikes, but less often, like 2 per hour or so. Playable lag for the rest, so I'm a little happy, but it still annoying as fuck. Oh and our server doesn't crash every 25 mins either.

I don't know why everyone doesn't have second chance pro on, it seems like no one does because I rarely ever see anyone else down to revive

I get revived about 80% of the time I go down, it's the most overpowered perk in the game because it also keeps your killstreak alive

they changed some server fps config issue of where it was set to 5000 for consoles but left 5k for PC when it should be 25k. Not sure what else they did, but our server is at least stable for the past 4 hours. Although there's a good 30 second delay between map ends and the load screen actually starts, which actually is kinda nice since it gives a good little break.

Still getting in-game lag issues and ping spikes up the wazzu... That's the biggest issue so far and looks like they will have a patch to fix it friday or early next week. Its kinda funny because they stopped responding on twitter apparently and just said "we are working hard on it". Should have worked hard on it before it was released and made it a horrible game day launch experience. I mean it's great that we have dedicated server support, but it's suppose to mitigate the lag, not exponentially cause it.

This will probably turn into sc2 situation of where they just kept on patching it for the next two months and finally tweak the gameplay. To me the whole unlock, lvls seem almost useless considering that within a few hours you are already lvl 30 and basically have a fairly good load out if you know what you want straight out. They should have made the value of the items based on market demands and actually have an economy of such in the game. Like someone here said, have experienced or currency based unlocking system, not both.

played a good 5 hours tonight. impressions

- The killstreaks are way toned down. I thought the RC Car was crap at first but got the hang of it. I haven't seen or used any of the higher killstreaks in a game except dogs.
- SMGs are actually worthwhile now. I seemed to like the MP5k better than any of the other starting weapons and now use the AK47u and the FAMAS (which is an assault rifle of course).
- The spawns are much more erratic and the maps are smaller. This keeps you on your toes more than in MW2. I don't know if I like this yet.
- Overall I think the game is going to end up being far more balanced but may not be as necessarily exciting as MW2. I'm kind of worried about sniping because I haven't seen a good map to snipe on except maybe Array and I likes to snipe sometimes when the occasion calls for it.

Purchased the game yesterday at best buy. So far I love the single player but not to sure about the multiplayer. I am coming from battlefield bad company 2 so this is a huge switch for me. Also, I haven't been able to lean in so long I keep forgetting to use it. Being able to choose the servers and see their ping is a huge improvement over MW2.

That sounds good, I felt like in MW2 the killstreaks went way overboard. The whole FPS mentality got morphed more into
a strategy on how to get your first 5-7 kills than chain your kill streaks together. Players while undoubtedly skilled
were going 26-4 not because of their superior shooting/FPS skills but because they most effectively executed kill streak
rewards.

I saw my roommates playing last night and it appeared that the graphics have gotten worse since MW2. What is up with that?

I heart my new reticles. Green smiley face and green circle are both awesome. I like the green much better than red in most maps.

The Galil is bad ass.

I don't know if i'll ever get tired of driving those RCXD's. They're so much damn fun. I still laugh every time i get a kill with one. There's nothing better than getting a double kill or saving a domination base with one.

I like the fact that you have to do multiple specific challenges to unlock pro versions of perks.

I'm really enjoying this game so far.

Treyarch is a less technically-sound studio than Infinity Ward when it comes to creating graphics. Also, they hired worse animators and texture artists.
