exactly why i like my little corner in Elizabeth. my neighborhood bars, the bankers or clubbers don't frequent too often and I can jump over to PM, NoDa, or Dilworth with ease.

if I go uptown it's for food or Hooligans and that's about it.

Yeah I live near 7th and Pecan. Perfect location for easy access to bars on 7th, Elizabeth, and Plaza Central.

Anyone know what's going in with that building at pecan and central? It's got a Jackalob Jacks sign on it. Either they're moving or opening a new location.

it's a new bar owned by Rob, the guy that owns Jacks. Honestly that's as much as I've been able to get out of the staff when I ask them. Jacks is not relocating (though that was the rumor when all the Elizabeth noise ordinance stuff came about last year). I feel like that building has been under construction for two years almost so whatever it is they are planning they are in no rush.
