That would be the opposite, not just "I had fun at State so Jaybee is wrong"

If you had no desire to go out and still had fun at State then more power to you... I agree that there are people like that. My point is for a university of its size and a city of its size there should be TONS of options for people that dont just like to sit at home and drink with friends, but there arent. And every single person I have talked to (and not just friends) that had come from another university has told me the same thing.

And yes, someone that has experienced more than one university is better able to form a viewpoint that is based on comparing more than one university.

Anyways, I have to run, but to repeat my main thought:

I agree that there are people like that, and theres nothing wrong with it. A big university without a defined "Party Street" is a university without a real social identity. Sure, we have something on Glenwood, something on Western, and something on Hillsborough. But you need a readily defined thoroughfare to really hit it off with the college crowd. Everything within walking distance. And I mean immediate walking distance, not a quarter mile here and 500 yards there. I should be able to step outside one bar and see 10 other bars when I look left and right. I should be able to stumble from one bar to another to another, running into people I love and people I hate along the way. I should have a favorite bathroom that I can go for whenever I need to puke or shit. I should have a favorite bar stool, a favorite shot and a favorite Golden Tee machine. I should have big titted waitresses who I also have classes with and can dream about banging while I jerk off in DH Hill. I should have bartenders that I know by name and vice versa, not the emo guy from Solas or the fag with the muscle shirt from PB’s. I should have the high score in Pop a Shot. I should have a “usual” that they bring me without being prompted. I should have my name carved on the wall.
