I hated this game so much. Felt like the Maryland football game two years ago where we needed to win to go to the ACC championship game.

Worst part is, it doesn't surprise me at all that we came out and laid a fucking egg today, like most fanbases would feel. Being a State fan really is like torturing yourself. One day I hope all of this heartache and constant disappointment will pay off and we can be on the other side of the coin for a change. Maybe it'll be next season - sigh - didnt I say that last year?

Honestly, except for the GT game, we're beating teams we should beat and losing to those who are clearly better than us.

About a minute into the game, it was clear that FSU is just a better team than us. Hard to get too pissed about that.

If you had told me at the beginning of the season that we'd lose at home to GT and still have a shot at the conference with six games left, I would've laughed in your face.

Yes, the team has failed in its real challenges, but after years of losing multiple head-scratchers, they've won the games they're supposed to this season. While that might not be much of an achievement in a lot of places, it's sure as hell a lot better than what we've been seeing.

A lot of people wrote this season off, expecting nothing good until next year's class shows up. I'm happy to have some real progress made in a "down" year.

If there was any indication this team hasn't packed it in for the season after the Duke game I didn't see it. I don't think we'll lose out but it also wouldn't surprise me if we only won one.

We were only favored because we looked so good against Duke. When you win games you are uspposed to win then expectations go up and people extrapolate that you will be able to beat good teams at home. We had the same record as FSU and if we won those two games we'd be playing UNC on Tuesday for the ACC championship.

FSU is a ranked team with one of the most talented rosters in the ACC (especially in the frontcourt). I think most rational folks would admit FSU is the better team hands down and it was a serious mistake that we were favored in this one. Also for fucks sake FSU is on pace to win the fucking conference. I think it is pretty obvious that they should have been favored.

I guess home court advantage and recent performances mean nothing when deciding who's favored.

State wins every game they are supposed to win (except for the ones where the world thinks state is supposed to win but adder thinks they are supposed to lose) and loses every game they are supposed to lose.
