Sanders ideologies are the future, but it doesn't look like its his time...

It's going to be a rough 4/8 years though.

he's doing well everywhere except the deep south and south is pretty much over. Hillary has only narrowly won states outside of the deep south. not to mention those are all deep red states.

Bernie is done folks. I know you wish it weren't true, but it's time to accept reality.

To be fair, only delusional, rabid Sanders supporters actually thought he stood a chance.

even 538 predicts that sanders will win most of the rest of the states, and he hasn't started campaigning in many of the others. bill only won 1 of the first 12 primaries. it's not over. what do y'all gain by wussing out early and claiming a loss? potentially "being right"? if you want sanders to win, stop contributing to the narrative that it's already over.

Theres only 3 southern states left and a lot of time. One bad email comes out and hillary could only have 3 states left to win.

Sanders is probably done.

But that doesn't legitamize the "it's time to support Hillary" argument.

I can't imagine many Democrats are.

Is that actually the steam behind the "it's time to support Hillary" argument?

Before Super Tuesday RCP averages were:

+34 MN
+28 CO
+2 OK
+7 MA

Pretty huge gains overall. Fuck the south though.

No. He was supposed to prove how much 'momentum' he had by winning MA. Losing was definitely an upset. He essentially got crushed in the South. His best win to date is MN...

"The Labor Department is expected to report Friday that the U.S. economy added 190,000 net new jobs last month. That would be an improvement over a disappointing 151,000 job gains in January.

The unemployment rate is expected to hold steady at 4.9%, matching an eight-year low. Wage gains are forecast to continue"

http://www.latimes.com/business/la-fi-jobs-adp-20160302-story.html

Lets not forget that under Obama the economy has come back from a recession to outpace other countries, and has thrived. Hopefully the democrats figure out a good way to convey this to Trump supporters.

Hillary should be saying "we solved the recession, we will solve wages/inequality/whatever".

^^^ if the economy was thriving, we wouldn't be at ZIRP for 7 years now and considering negative interest rates, read the world financial news a bit, things have gone pretty bad in early 2016...unless you're a gold investor, up 17%

Good run for Sanders, but you're not winning a Democratic National primary without black support at this point. (Alabama was 90 to 5.)

The thing about the economy is that it could ALWAYS do better. Let's not kid ourselves and act like we're in as rough of a patch as 2009.

A moderate crushed a progressive in conservative places but lost slightly to him in liberal places. Makes sense to me.

Clinton can't win alabama, sc, tennesee in a general election so its a pointless statistic.

Clinton was up 60 points a year ago nationally, up 30 6 months ago, and now she's down to 9.

He's losing the black vote by a ridiculous margin in the south. But he's also losing those states from the white voters, too. The only places we're hearing about black voters flocking to Clinton in such huge waves are in SEC states. Let's stop pretending that black voters all think alike.

One of the things that confounds me is that the civil rights activist, John Lewis, stated that he never saw Bernie Sanders during the civil rights movement but that he saw Bill and Hillary Clinton during the civil rights movement; however, I read that Hillary Clinton campaigned for Barry Goldwater, who opposed the Civil Rights Act.

Can anyone tell me whether my facts are incorrect with regard to this subject?

All the democrat nominee has to do it seems is just not screw up... GOP is in a bad spot, but this doesn't mean Hillary or Bernie will capitalize on this.

terrible premise. theres no way around that question. either you support the 2nd ammendment or you don't and as long as SOME people can buy guns, you are going to have shootings. period. Of course hillary can BS her way through to sound good.

Map based on polling of Sanders vs Trump:

Click the map to create your own at 270toWin.com

If this is the matchup, then Bernie would just need to win one of Ohio, Pennsylvania, NC, or Florida. Hillary has a few more states to swing:

Interesting that some traditionally red states are in play for her, but will be tough without having Minnesota and Michigan locked in.

sooo can we talk about hillary's stance on abortion? she just said on fox news that she's for a constitutional amendment banning late term abortions. and PP endorsed her over sanders?

it's not pandering. she's been for it for a long time, just re-stated.

it varies from state to state. she is for a constitutional amendment.
