So I got a job offer at the grand canyon (a sure thing - full offer extended, lodging discussed, etc)

Z doesn't even like the notion of me taking the job in Colorado (an "if your availability matches ours" job offer)

I would rather do CO, since we're trying to move there and all.

Z doesn't want me to even do CO. CO is convenient to a major airport, and so conducive to visiting and such, and we figure we can get ~half of his travel costs to visit paid for; grand canyon has none of these perks/relevant benefits.

This is frustrating (but a nice problem to have - I'm well aware of that )
