^ yea and high point. still a lot of furniture but they are having to compete with companies overseas. and it is hard for a small company to like break into the international market cause you gotta have that $$$ to start manufacturing overseas AND theres a lot of other legal drama. but if you do want to do that you should go to vietnam. nam is where its at

Yeah, I did furniture manufacturing in China between undergrad and grad school. A lot of my designs would be able to ship strategically stacked to maximize packing efficiency then broken up and repackaged here. I could see myself doing super high end stuff as well as some reasonably priced higher quality furniture, but at the end of the day, the chinese will most likely steal the design and make shitty versions of it on the cheap.
