ok, so what im thinking is your % of the stake back, plus .5* your percentage of the stake of the prize pool. (gotta keep tax implications out)

so, if i cash 1k, youll get $50 + (1000*.05) = $100

win 30k, $50+ (30,000*.05) = $1550.

Which site do you guys prefer the most? I seem to like many for various reasons which I suppose is pretty obvious. I like the speed of UB, shit ton of tourneys on Party and Stars, the GUI of Full Tilt as well as its satellites and some cash games, and the cash games on CDpoker(which I know none of you probably play) Do you find the lessor known sites are better for cash games? I have tried grinding it out on the major sites in the cash games, but always find the smaller sites(absolute) and even smaller CDpoker to be better in the cash games long term. Any other thoughts on this? I almost totally REFUSE to play cash games on Party Poker. The amount of idiots at pretty much any level makes it almost to much to deal with on a daily basis.

haha, not that this is really a poker story, but I just got banned chatting on Full Tilt for talking shit to Matusow nonstop for like 20min. And the best part is, I kept giving him hell about getting arrested for dealing coke, and he told me I was gone in 5min, and over 15min later I was still talking shit to him, and the entire table and observers hated me, but I wasnt banned yet, and I kept telling mike how he was such a loser that he couldnt even back up how he wanted to ban me, and how he should just go smoke some more crack like Stu Ungar, and atleast Stu was a junkie too but managed to win the main event...more than once, lol, etc....god, it really went on for a long time before my chat got blocked. I can post the log if anyone is interested, it actually is quiet funny lol. but its a lot of words. I just thank god I had no money on there

He had 7 pure outs (3 kings, 3 tens, and the case queen), plus the unlikely chance that the river and turn make a pair. About 1/3 of the time you get outdrawn.

Plus, this is heads up. Only three hands beat a set of queens: KK, J9, and your AJ. Only against KK would he have been a gross underdog. You're telling me you wouldn't have pushed and called all-in with that heads up?

Bad luck? Yes. Bad beat? No.

i try not to get too caught up in the other person and play my own game. if you start making lots of plays based on the perceived strengths/weaknesses of your opponent, youre gonna end up losing. more so if you underestimate people - but even the "good" players are using the same deck as you. go take their money son

We just bought a house, so I've been busy moving as of late. Haven't played much poker since I was out in Connecticut last year. A little online here and there, but only for small stakes ($10) tournies. I still don't feel entirely comfortable with online play, as I do believe there are ways to cheat, from collusion to actual program manipulation. So I keep the stakes small so even if that happens o I perceive that it happens, I don't lose much. That being said I have done really well.

Jesus Christ right as I type that I get sucked out on. I hate those fucking retards who call with AA and then go all-in after the flop regardless of what hits. What I hate more than anything is that these douchebags actually think they are playing good. It seriously isn't the money. I just loathe some douchebag sitting back and thinking "I schooled him." Arggghhhh.

Have any of you guys ever been playing so many tables you don't even realize when one of them gets dried up? I was playing a bunch of 10 seat games earlier and it eventually got to the point where I couldn't keep up. I then realized that two of my tables were down to 4 people. Anyways, it doesn't happy to me too often, but I really hate to think about how long I was probably playing 4 handed on those tables.

well im back.

41st out of 178.

the field was smaller than i would have hoped, the fact that the womens tournamnet was at the same time probably didnt help things.

im mentally exhausted, and will write up more later.


the table i was sat at originally was the gauntlet of shitty positions.

3 tv pros and 2 others who had mae large FT cashes in this series.

if you are at a locked up table for the first like 5 hours of a limit tournament, youre at a huge dissadvantage when the table breaks, obviously.

but, destorying allen kessler and having him talk shit about my play to men "the master" afterwards and having men point at me and say i played it right was pretty validating.

then it felt better to bust him.

A hand that went down midafternoon today.

I had a wretched table draw with Allen Kessler to my left, and a locked up table for the first 6 hours till we finally broke.

I hadn't really shown the desire to get cute yet, I'm sure he had noticed. He had absorbed a few pretty sick draws, but was covertly playing the fastest out of the table, making bets that either could have been construed as representative bets, or legit nut situations, but had not been forced to show down anything that he didnt go in a a nice favorite.

He's getting a tad frustrated, but still collected and thinking.

I believe it was 200/400 at the time, but may well have been 300/600.

Line check needed here, not sure if I got too passive or if kessler was getting out of line.
