It is now just getting to the Triad so we will see how it pans out through there before getting to the Triangle by early evening. Wind damage could be widespread. The strongest gusts will occur as the line first moves in.

So far it looks like nobody saw the 80 gusts but something close to 60 in most spots.

Also, the *official* peak wind here at RDU was 49mph at 5:32. We did have 30mph for a sustained period of 2+ mins though.

WRAL was struggling. Immediately after the storm they had to resort to pictures of realtor signs and trash cans that had blown over. Now they're even back to regularly scheduled programming.

I took a walk around and there were a few snapped limbs out of trees but that was about it. Glad it wasn't a bad event.
