i've posted the peach ruffles one b4 (or maybe you have when we were talking about ruffle bikinis a few pages back), so my vote is that one. I also like the black and white mod print. 2/11/2010 10:12:42 AM |

I'm definitely digging the peach and it's SOOO different from my other bikinis. Much girlier.
Most of my bikinis are either surf suits or they're sexy metallic Vegas- or South Beach-style suits. 2/11/2010 10:15:06 AM |

well then I think it's settled! if you're gonna add to a 30 piece bathing suit collection, then I'd definitely go with something different and get the peach ruffles it is super cute 2/11/2010 10:17:57 AM |

I found this site has good bikinis:
http://www.wickedweasel.com
And RE: Joie, that flat cut bottom you seem to like looks like it tends to widen hips. Is that your intention? Regardless, my votes go to 2 and 6. 2/11/2010 11:04:31 AM |

i will not be wearing suits that minimize hips:
i will happily deal with an extra perceived inch or two inthe hips than deal with this piece of hot pink crap. 2/11/2010 11:23:48 AM |

Skincare topic time! I've recently changed my routine, and my skin is so happy with me.
This stuff is amazing for a cheap cleanser. I was skeptical about the hokey little scrubby thing, but I haven't had a breakout since I started it (about 3 weeks ago).
I pair this with my "Dear John" moisturizer and I'm set for the day- its thick and creamy, but doesn't leave a greasy residue or clog my pores.
I use
about three times a week to exfoliate- love love love! I wish it weren't limited edition, I'm almost out. :-(
Anyone have other recommendations? 2/12/2010 1:02:49 PM |

this is my jam
MD Skincare Alpha-Beta Daily Face Peel 60 applications
Get healthier, more vibrant skin with the first peel formulated for daily at-home use. Its unique two-step system of ready-to-use pads contains a precise blend of alpha and beta hydroxy acids, antioxidant vitamins A, C, and E, soothing green tea extract, and an oil-free moisturizer!
its expensive so i only use it like twice a year but my skin looks fucking amazing after a few weeks. however, the first few days you use it you tend to break out a little bc its pulling all the gunk out of your skin 2/12/2010 1:25:03 PM |

and as far as skin care, i posted this on the last page i think, but i just started using ponds cream moisturizer and it has worked SUPER well for me. thick and creamy so you only have to use a little bit and 10oz is like $7 which is a really good deal (since i was looking at 2oz jars of olay shit that were like $17 dollars). i have SUPER dry skin so it works well for me; however - def wouldn't be good for someone who has oily skin in the slightest. i need to switch up my face wash because i'm using the st. ives stuff now and i've used it for awhile but it is too harsh on my skin i feel like and even though it exfoliates it contributes to the dryness. or maybe i just shouldn't exfoliate everyday?!
you can wear it at night and day and it hasn't caused me to break out or anything.

im a st ives fan
and ive used the generic brand and switched back
daily exfoliating isnt necessarily bad but if you feel you're extra dry then maybe skip a day or two
on skip days i like neutrogena daily facewash (usually the yellow/gold colored stuff) but i like grapefruit (pink) and it smells delicious 2/12/2010 2:28:06 PM |

on the topic of breakouts...
if your cheek/jaw area is zitty... get int he habit of wiping down your cell with rubbing alcohol or something. motherfucker is dirty and will make your face break out
also, my mom told me you're supposed to change your pillowcase every night! at first i was like no way but when you think about it, your face is smashed up on it for several hours per night and most people wash their sheets like once a week. so it makes sense, you don't wear the same socks, underwear or bra for days on end without washing so why not switch out the pillowcase? 2/12/2010 2:35:47 PM |
