i've never gotten jeans from urban outfitters but i just got a bunch of clearance shirts and jackets there and the clearance prices were pretty good - so maybe there?

gap clearance?

macy's also was having a sale recently / probably still is because of president's day (or whatever holiday is coming up!)

kohls, target, forever21 all have reasonable prices. you just have to get lucky enough to find them in your size.

Target is your best bet for that price range, but I recommend shopping in person rather than online because Target jean (generally Mossimo) sizes tend to vary wildly from pair-to-pair.

Gap is also a great choice, but again, you really may need to visit the store for accurate sizes.

American Eagle jeans can fall into that price range, and they tend to be fairly fashionable and well-constructed for the price.

I almost exclusively buy my jeans off e-bay. In the last 3 days I've gotten a pair of j.crew, 7's, and Joes and paid $20, $30, & $40. Bout to buy a pair of paige denim too

Yeah the thing is I pretty much need to do online shopping...around here the clothing stores are limited...tomorrow I'm going to check out TJ Maxx and Ross but other than a Belk and Sears that's pretty much all there is

Oooh, ebay is a good call.

You can get great brands for a fraction of the cost.

I wish you could go to an american eagle and not just shop online. I just bought a $10 pair of jeans from them on Friday. Their president's day sale ends tomorrow. AE jeans are really the only jeans that make my ass, hip and stomach area look amazing (well, the boyfriend cut).

I LOVE my AE boyfriend jeans!

I'm pear-shaped and they are super comfy in the thighs. They offer plenty of leg room, but still hug the booty perfectly and provide the perfect shape.

I haven't looked through Modcloth in a while and I have some new wants.
LOVE the surprise on this one!

LOVE these two but they're $100

Ooh Nerdchick! Cute! I love the black w/leopard print shoulders. It's very Samantha Jones/Sex In The City. I bet the print would look great w/your skin tone/hair color.

thanks!

I'm inclined towards the nautical dress because the shape is forgiving. I've had fit issues with Modcloth and I'm nervous about ordering a sheath. I have a pretty standard shape and department store clothes fit me well but 2 of the 3 dresses I've ordered I had to return. They just fit weird!

I ended up getting this shirt for my interview, in the pink stripes:

http://www.express.com/catalog/product.jsp?productId=23451&parentCategoryId=2&categoryId=16&subCategoryId=16&user_att_name=Interest&user_att_value=Email&Mppg=0&Mcatpn=category&Mpper=3&Mcat=16&Mcatp=cat_2&Mpos=13&Mrsaa=*&Mcatn=Blouses+%26+Shirts&Mpg=SEARCH%2BNAV&Mrsavf=*

if you click on the black/white stripes, it'll show you the normal way to wear it.. I'm not going to have the belt and all that crap

nobody had any cute sleeveless tops that didn't have a ton of stuff around the neck

I really want this Alberto Makali dress:

Though it's hard to justify dropping that much money on a fairly casual dress. I'm also eyeing this Arden B ebay find. Just 19 bucks!

BTW, just want to say that I am really bummed about Alexander McQueen. RIP. His shoes were amazing.

He was sooo talented. But apparently his mother's death sent him over the edge.

If my husband wouldn't shit a brick by me doing it, I really like this hair cut.

thing is I think I would shit a brick too afterward; I just can't get the nerve. I wish I wasn't so attached to my hair...

that said, w/ husband shitting more of a stone versus a brick, I think I'm gonna go back to my bangs again, but a little different. something like this

^ i like the second one

i recently cut off like 5 inches of my hair and it was scary but i ended up liking it. though i think i wanna grow it back out. i don't know. i just like myself better with long hair. i guess it is a security blanket or something.

although i actually like the length it is right now (i cut it in december so its grown out a little since then). so i may keep it this length for awhile.

i don't know. hair is so difficult. but i really like the first and second cuts you posted, but def the second one if you are trying to ease into the drama

i think bangs scare me more than getting my hair cut short. bangs are definitely terrifying. because bad bangs are just...bad and they are super hard to fix. whereas cutting your hair into a bob or something sucks if it is bad but atleast you can pin it back or like somehow disguise the ugly. bangs are terrifying.

bangs don't scare me. I trust my stylist (Brandy! she's moved for all the Brandy lovers if you didn't know...Atomic Salon now).

I have two other options, and a little poll going on fb.

this is a former cut I had (I'm on the R)

and this one

the 2nd one from my previous post reminds me of my hair when it was like

the more I look at the Rachel McAdams cut, the more I like it...I think when I go in I'd like to try that but not as short...then take it from there

So I read online that you can wash your hair with a baking soda and water mixture and then use vinegar as a conditioner....I might try this...

The only draw back that I read was that it will make your hair a little more oily than normal at first because your scalp is used to producing much more oil to compensate for the shampoo taking it all out...but I don't think I'll have that problem I generally only wash my hair once or maybe twice a week...

I've gone the vinegar for conditioner route.

Not ever happening again. I'm not particularly opposed to the smell of vinegar or bothered by it, but walking around with the aroma of it on my hair was just too much. It was I predict you'll try it once or two and not stick with it because of the smell. It just doesn't come out.

I didn't even think of that...but yeah it makes sense....

Although that site also suggests that after a while you can ween off the baking soda/vinegar treatment all together and just go to plain water to wash your hair...that would be really awesome, but my hair is oily enough/I mess with my hair too much that I don't think it would work for me.

^ LOL. I tried the mayo for conditioner trick when I was 10. Never again. My hair smelled soooo disgusting. It was about 15 years before I could eat mayo again.

Of course, at the time I had crazy frizzy hair bc my fam is poor and we could only afford Suave and White Rain. Now I shell out dough for good conditioner. It's worth the investment.

^^^^^I really don't have to shell out the big bucks for shampoo and conditioner...my hair does pretty well with whatever...I think I've been blessed with naturally healthy hair, even when I color it, blow dry it, straighten it, do anything to it really it's never brittle and it's always soft
