i actually haven't heard of it outside of tww. most of the people I know aren't bar/downtown buffs at all. They all seem to rotate between Buckhead, Rum Runners, Flying Saucer, Napper Tandy's and Tir na nogue so I'm always interested in trying the TWW Bar favorites.

yeah, I'm getting excited. It's starting to go from a vague notion or idea to something that's actually going to happen. I move a week from tomorrow

orientation, or "boot camp" as lots of people are calling it, is the entire week before classes start, something like 8:30am-5pm. I've heard they work your pretty hard, was that the case for you?

^^ yea that is the same deal as me. my parents lived in raleigh (well live or whatever) and my bf is here still. it isn't that bad. a little stressful but not too bad. i think if you make it through the first year together then it'll be fine

Ideally, we're looking at 30-45 minutes distance...close enough to visit whenever, but not just to pop in, and not to stay over on a work night

any closer and it feels like a roommmate, any further and it feels like a roadtrip just to see her

yea but that traveling gets old after awhile. this will be my third year doing it, i'm over it. even though it is only 1 hourish away.

plus it just seems like financially eventually living together is a better option. and i mean...if you want to get married i'm pretty sure you eventually end up living with someone haha (well usually i guess)
