"i guess living at home sans rent right now negates my right to complain about anything (especially in the eyes of tww) but sometimes i find myself wishing my dad was dead instead of my mom he is just so mean to me. i don't know if it amounts to emotional or verbal abuse, but it is really hard to stomach. and getting harder. its to the point where sometimes i just want to hang myself in the closet and then leave a note that says solely "fuck you dad, this is all your fault. enjoy your fucking life." or something equally mean. except there really isn't any fun in that because a) i'd be dead (not cool) and b) it takes the vindictive fun out of it because i'd want to see the reaction and the devastation. i guess i'm a horrible person but at the same time i feel like so is he. i try to "earn my keep" by doing laundry, buying groceries (with my own $$), cleaning out the fridge (nasty ass shit), the pantry (nasty), doing dishes (cause he doesn't), cooking, otherwise cleaning up after him, etc he doesn't hear me at all. i'll call and say "i'm doing this i wont be home until this time" and then he'll call and be like "WHERE ARE YOU" and i'll be like "i told you 4 times i was doing this on this day" and he'll be like "well whatever, i don't think you did because i don't remember that." he doesn't listen if i say ANYTHING. i can tell him something 45 times and he'll still be like "you never told me that" and blame shit on me. and then i won't see him for days on end and i'll clean the entire house and instead of being like "wow the house is clean" he'll come in and be like "why the hell do you subscribe to THIS magazine. way to waste money" and throw it at me. or like tonight, we were going out to dinner with his gf and he had (allegedly) a lot of work stuff in his car so he wanted to take our extra car (my mom's old car). and i left a beach towel in my mom's SUV from the beach a few weeks ago. in the trunk area. and he yelled at me and said the car was too messy to drive. that is ALL that was in there. so then we rode in his car which had like 4 notebooks in the front seat. and when i tried to move them to set them on my lap while we rode and he yelled at me again and made me ride in the back. and all through dinner he just talked to his gf about how he couldn't wait to get my (dead) mom's social security benefits (or whatever) when he turns 65. 30 minutes ago someone from one of my loans called our house (i have due dates coming up) and i'm upstairs because i can't handle hanging out with my dad and i didn't hear the phone. so i went down to let the dog out before bed and he was like "someone just called from the loan place for you" and i was like "when? like right now" and he was like "yea there's a message on the machine" and i was like "why didn't you answer it and let me know i had a phone call" and he was like "because i looked at the caller id and saw it was for you and didn't feel like answering it" WTF? i've done nothing in my life to ever deserve being treated like this. its not like he is physically abusive (though he does sometimes kick (not hard, but hard enough to make me upset) my animals and call them pieces of shit) but i feel like it is really starting to take a toll on me mentally. i can't live in a house where i'm constantly getting yelled at and put down, for NOTHING...no significant reason. or when i'm saying something important, it doesn't even get heard. i just don't know what to do anymore. i feel like i have no one left in my entire family to turn to. i just want a job so i can get the fuck out of here and never see these people again."
