I will, but it was mainly just howling winds off my porch and a lot of rain. I did not see a funnel or anything like that. Quite possible it was just straight line winds. Power is still on, although I have now lost WRAL.

Yeah radar was showing 90 mph at 5000 ft which means 70 mph or so could mix down to the ground as straight line winds.

RALEIGH — A Raleigh resident died in Saturday's storm.

Cheryl Harrison, 50, died from injuries when the top portion of a tree broke off and fell during high winds.

Harrison was walking on a greenway trail at the end of Dunn Road with a 53-year-old male and a 20-year-old male. Police did not identify the men.

EMS responded at around 2:30 p.m. and transported Harrison to WakeMed, where she was pronounced dead as a result of the accident. The two men were not seriously injured.

The location is north of the 540 Loop and west of Capitol Boulevard.
