yeah it was $1 min bet last christmas, the last time i was in town.

Still at $3, theres no real difference, what is $2?

This time around I was hoping to implement my ridiculously action filled strategy to really piss off the dealers at those horribly packed tables.

it's easier to implement on lets say a $5 table. ill have to think about the math a bit before doing it at a table with such ridiculous odds offerings.

$5 units.

1 unit on the pass line
come out roll blah blah (i usually throw a horn hi-yo as a protection bet, even thought he pass line IIRC is sligthly +EV on only the come out roll)
point established
2 units on the odds to back up the line bet

1 unit comming
a place bet 1 unit across the board, 4,5,6,8,9,10

if a 4,5,6,8,9,10 is rolled, the pay for the place bet, and the actual bet shifts to 2 units on the odds for the come. the place pay + the place bet is enough to actually make hte 2xunits odds bet, plus enough for another unit comming. some numbers even with a few bucks back as change.


replace come bet, usually shown by when the last come bet is established, "(2units) odds, (1 unit) comming" etc. run this across the board

If you hit one of your come bets, go off and on for taking the pay, leaving 1 unit comming and residual 2 units odds.

ideally, getting a come bet with odds across the entire board.

continue until you're broke, or triple up.

hit a nice roll, the money is quickkk

have a streak of 7s comming out without hitting any of your comes or early after making all the places, you're hosed.

i know that any gambling strategy is bunk, blah blah blah

but this is one i specifically devised for a certian reason, and am aware of the swings and the ev loss blah blah blah

so with with 100x odds are david:

you can bet up to 100x your pass line bet on your "odds" bet, which is where the casino gives true odds for the payouts for rolling the number vs the seven. the pass line bet only pays 1:1, where as say the 10 or 4 pays 2:1. see how playing large on the odds bet and low on the pass line actually decreases HA? the higher the odds multiplier allowed, the lower the HA, since you are slowly negating the HA on your passline bet since its only a 1:1 proposition, on usualy much worse than 1:1 bets.

I think with 100x odds, if fully maxed out you can decrease your passline (and odds) bets down toa HA of like 0.001% or so.

most legit casinos (unlike royal, who is legit enough to have a denny's directly attached to it) wont give those odds, like 5x is the highest youll see in AC. with higher passline minimums. why would the casino want to aid the player in lowering the advantage?
