Who is on the hill for Atl?

I know Maine is pitching for the Mets, and I think he is the Mets best starter right now and hasn't given up more than 2 runs in his last 7 starts. Isn't some fill-in scrub pitching for the Bravos?

^^ Oops - meant to put O on the TB/Oak game. And yeah, some fill in scrub named is pitching for the braves, I think his last name is Glavine or something

Thats the day game - Night game is Claudio Vargas vs the fill in scrub Jorge Campillo. Though just looking at his stats from stat tracker he has a good K:BB ratio (17:5) and a 1.27 era... so you never know.

I fluctuate between 20 and 30...would've broken through last night but got betrayed by two picks that went bad. Lost 16.50 between the two of them but came through with my other picks to sit at 25.

Yeah, I don't think I'll use that vegasedge site anymore. They were beasts in college and NBA regular season, but baseball and NBA finals for them is a crap shoot.

The other bets I posted are looking great, 12-0 in the over 9 game and Braves leading 8-1 against the Mets. Too bad my other bets don't look that good .

Vegasedge is a blog (http://vegasedge.blogspot.com) that publishes its daily picks and sometimes has multiple 25* picks that you pay $25 for. Usually its free, its just a matter of checking the site once it has been updated.

Going with $6 on each of K Town's picks:

I don't know what to think of tonights game... Part of me thinks that the reason Boston hasn't won on the road is they knew all they had to do was win at home. Now they have to win on the road to advance so maybe they'll step up and pull it off.


Then again.. Maybe they can't win on the road in the playoffs...


good news for Boston is, Ray Allen looks like he may actually have his head screwed on.

I can't find the meaning of 25, 20, 15, and 10 stars on vegasedge. Do the numbers correspond to the likelihood the picks are called correctly?

25 Star Play- 19-10
20 Star Plays-50-40
15 Star Play- 40-31
10 Star Plays- 10-11

Also, are these the win/lose records or do they mean something else and are you guys taking them up on spurs -5? I can't figure out if you sharing this blog is a blessing or a curse.

25 is supposedly their sure thing. funny thing is that 3 of the 10 losses on the 25* came on one game where you had to pay $25 to find out what their pick was and they said they'd put 3 losses if it didn't hit.

^i'm just getting into it. I was never much for gambling anything other than NLHE and don't know enough about the 'scene' to make my own decisions yet. Until then, having money on a game makes it exponentially more enjoyable for me.

That said, my buddy is a pretty knowledgeable all around sports guy and he's been making some bad calls.
