the problem with dirtbikes around here is you have to go quite a ways to find a place to ride em. dual purpose a lil better i guess but for a few hundred bucks i guess you cant complaint

Hey I'm not selling anything but I don't think this merits its own thread so whatever

I've been looking to buy mid 90s Civic hatchback. I found a lady who has a 95 VX with 110k miles for $2500. It has no AC, which is my biggest concern. Might be able to talk her down to $2000 because of that. The most attractive thing is that she claims to get 50 mpg. I was skeptical, but I looked it up online and the VX gets 47 city 56 hwy.

Does anybody know more about this model? The CX is way more common. What I've found online suggests that the car is pretty slow, but I'm not entirely concerned about that. Does this sound like a good deal? And to any of you guys who have had a car without AC, how much does it suck?

I've had more than a few cars without AC, and I WILL SHIT A BRICK SIDEWAYS BEFORE I OWN ANOTHER.

No. I'm not exaggerating. It's not so bad with a white car and cloth upholstery, but if the car is any dark color at all, summers are BRUTAL.

I've lived without AC before, and it's likely I will again, but I will go kicking and screaming into that abyss.

well the car is teal not sure about interior color but I'm 90% certain it's cloth. I had no idea that cars were manufactured as recently as 1995 with no AC. WTF kind of barbarian world are we living in. Guess if I buy it I'll invest in a window shade

1966 scout, It has a 196 I4, 4 speed close ratio, twin stick dana 20, 3.73 gears, the equivalent of 31" road tires. The following are new within the past two years: shocks, tires, engine wiring, gauges, battery, alternator, carb rebuild, plugs, wires, petronix, radiator service, transmission and axle service, front brake lines, all brake shoes, master cylinder, water pump, hoses, heater core, blower motor, all u-joints, fuel pump, and more that I cannot think of at the moment. The passenger side gas tank is not in the truck, but I have it sitting in the garage. The seats in the truck currently are from a jeep cherokee, they are ok. I have the original front buckets, but they need work. The truck didnt come with a rear seat. I can get you a better top for ~150 locally if you want it. I also have an extra passenger door, and a bunch of other parts that come with the truck. I have a copy of the original title, the dealer markup sheet, and misc other papers for the truck, I bought it from the estate of the original owner in TX. As I said before, the truck is roadworthy, and I used to drive it 100+ miles per week. However I am getting a truck with my new job, and I cannot justify 4 cars for my wife and myself. Asking $2800.

I don't know why the hell I'm posting this right now with money being tight like it is, and not having enough time to really do any more side jobs...

but I'd like to find some stock Duallie rims for my truck...'89 Dodge D350.

I'll most likely need duallie hubs for the Dana 70 axle; the single hubs don't have a provision to center standard duallie rims.

I would also like to find a 16"x6" stock Dodge 8-lug SRW rim, 'cause I need a spare somewhat desperately. I busted a belt in a tire this weekend and I had to drive the truck from Hampstead to Jacksonville at 50mph, because I didn't have a spare.
