i feel ur pain..i contracted vampirism the other week and i havent played since cause of all that's involved to get cured. u cant fast travel anywhere and have to go everywhere at night. fuck that. i dont have the patience for it.

you can fast travel, just gotta do it at night and run like a bitch when you get back.

there's a cure if you go talk to someone at the mages guild or temple or something. if you have a previous save it might jsut be easier to do that. otherwise you gotta buy/find 5 grand soul gems and do a bunch of other shit thats relatively annoying.

I still have absolutly NO idea how to recharge my own weapons. I have the weapon you get from the end of the dark brotherhood quest(which has an insanely small amount of uses) and costs 10000 to recharge!!11

you get a soul gem with a fill and use it. wahla, filled item. ive never filled my own, but you find or can buy plenty of um. in fact you can buy them a lot cheaper than you can pay to recharge.

you have to talk to Raminus Polus, he's this dude in the arcane university. he will get you started on the quest to cure vampirism. you have to collect all these ingredients and a woman will make the cure for you. it's a bitch but it's worth getting rid of that filth. when you finish the quest, there is a glitch that allows you get get inifinite gold from the count of skingrad.

if you feed whenver you are in town it isnt that big of a deal. guilds are good places to feed cuz ppl sleep out in the open.

sneak up on someone, preferably while they are sleeping and it should be an option. same as pickpocketing basically.

all these glitches I'm hearing about are pretty much the reason why I stopped playing the first elder scrolls: arena game back in the day.

I'd be done with a quest and not get credit for it. Tons of bugs, crashes, and other infuriating crap. This version is much much better but apparently still pretty buggy.

Whats this glitch about getting unlimited gold from the count after you find the cure? Do you just keep going back to him for more?

When talking to the count at the end theres an option about the reward. all you do is keep selecting that option for reward and he'll keep giving you money. get it while you can because after you leave he goes back into his room and he's hard to get too then.

Being a vamp aint bad. Every other day you just need to feed. Easiest people to feed on are the beggers when they are asleep at night. Just find there sleeping places in a few different towns and you are set. Just becareful where you save and you aren't stuck out in the middle of no where away from town and can't fast travel. Im level 13 with about 50 hours of play time.

I also read and found this sweet helmet off an island near Anvil. Its called Fin gleam or something like that like and its on a skeleton in the bottom of the ocean. While wearing it you can breath underwater which is cool, but it also gives you night-sight and life detection Very useful when in caves. Im also trying to find the last damn chest up in pale pass near bruma. inside theres a ring that give +3 in all stats i think.

as for the bugs, the patch fixed the major ones, and after 80 hours of gametime, i haven't had it crash yet...but not being able to get into the arcane university is kind of pissing me off

Even before the patch this game had less bugs than arena, daggerfall, or morrowind. The only time it crashed on me is while exiting (and crasdhing to the desktop on exit is more of an annoyance than an actual problem.) Also, if you DO get stuck in a quest that is screwy, there's usually a console command that'll fix it. Luckily I've only had to use that once and it was actually my fault. A plugin I made kind of fucked up some pathing during a cutscene and prevented the cutscene from progressing. But yeah, this patch fixed most of the bugs people've complained about anyways.

That bastard Althagar at the mages guild on Chorral. From what I read he's the one Im suppose to get all the summon spells from but he doesn't even give me an option to buy or train from him. Only thing I found was the quest to find the master out in the woods and that punk wants me to summon a faded wraith.

Ive been hauling around this guy named Ethor*sp* for a while though. Maybe I need to finally drop his ass off. He's been helping me fight but I think he's getting pissed because every now and then he'll throw magic at me and drain my health right in the middle of a fight. Keeps tellin me he wants to go home now

I've gotten rid of my vampirism and robbed that count for all he's worth, made out with like 120k in gold, went and bought me some magical bits and won the arena quest.

All in all its getting good. Too good. The fiancee is complaining that I don't spend any time with her anymore.

theres 1 or 2 in the case in the imperial city mage academy. otherwise vendors at the mages guild that sell alchemy items will generally have them. just fly around to each city and check, you can at least find a few.
