I'm not following you around, Bobby, I was browsing down the page and when I saw that book I asked myself, "Who the fuck would read this and then go on to say it's a 'great read'?" Of course, I wasn't surprised when I saw it was you, true. 1/12/2008 10:43:09 PM |

I was in Barnes and Noble today and they had Oryx and Crake and Black Swan Green in hardcover on the bargain racks for five or six bucks each.
Either one would end up being the best five bucks you'd spend that week. 1/14/2008 9:46:30 PM |

^^^I plan on reading that soon. It's suppose to be an extension on some of his ideas in Fooled by Randomness, which I have read and really enjoyed. I don't know if it's necessary to read that first, but I can tell you it's good, and if you like, you'll probably be interested in reading The Black Swan afterward. 1/19/2008 3:18:28 PM |

Read it this past week. It was pretty good. For anybody who's read the Foundation series, Asimov's detective novels with Daneel Olivaw are pretty neat.
