it's basically a modern version of zelda for nes/snes to the point it's almost plagiarism. the game is incredibly fun and nostalgic and references just about every noteworthy game from the past. there are also some intentional mistranslations that are pretty funny. (ex: "LIFE UP GET!" when you get another life bar) one thing that's different is the number of swords and the ability to upgrade them. for example, the best weapon in the game, fully maxed, fills the entire screen.

there is also a pretty robust character creator. and you can d/l uploaded characters. people have made everything from link to batman to sonic to a space ship to classic FF characters to a penis

Ton's of Counter-Strike: Global Offensive

Also recently played Gone Home, which had a really good story. It was really similar to Dear Esther in that it's basically just a walk around and listen to a narrative kind of game. Shelter was a lot of fun. The Swapper has a lot of good puzzles but I just can't get into it. I got The Stanley Parable but have yet to play it but hear a lot of good things.
