but last season it also seemed pretty clear to people that the other who was shot was charlottes dad or grandfather, which was proven to be pretty far from the truth. you can go through the season 5 thread and season 4 thread and soon you will notice that lots of people are really sure about things because of snippets here and there, but are misled...and some times intentionally.

one thing i was just thinking about rewatching LA X:2. After Hurley says his goodbyes to Sayid he looks up and Miles is staring at him. Hurley says 'what' and Miles says 'nothing'. I'm wondering if Miles was waiting, expecting to hear a message from Sayid. The look on his face makes me think he never got that message, thus who knows what has really happened with Sayid.

I am not liking the direction the show is going all of sudden. Seems like they just kinda thrust the story into the Temple world. Reminds me of one of the little sidetrack devices the writers would throw into the storyline in seasons past, we'll be dealing with the sidetrack story for half the season only to come out of it with a question or two answered

I also dont care for the asian dude and the guy with the glasses who seem to run the temple. oh well, I'll have a little faith in the writers this time, its the final season, its all gotta be for a good reason

the episode when kate and sawyer broke out Rousseau's daughters boyfriend, Karl, Mac was guarding the place and kate hit him with the butt of a rifle, thats what hes talking about.

Rousseau got shot while traveling with Alex and Karl by the mercs, on the island we are in the same time period as the Ajira flight that they came back to the island on, 2007 i think

I wonder if Kate will deliver aaron. Also it seems certain now that Christian is our 3rd or 4th force on the island and is definitely evil.

One thing to consider with smokey being evil or not is the contraption built to "summon him" hidden under the DI house Ben was living in. I don't see how somehting evil would be considered a security system.

Also, when smoke dogg walked away with Richard he said "I am very disapointed in all of you" as if they had done wrong.

They saved Ben from Sayid and have been there all along? This theory creates a "then who was phone" scenario because the temple had to have been empty before 1950s but it is an ancient structure. We also notice that Richard, Whitmore, Ellie and Ben always lived outside the temple. Very strange.

no clue, but it looked like the first thing dogen did was blow that ash all over his body.

- maybe the electrocution really wasn't all that powerful and the ash intensified it because he had "the darkness" or whatever. Or maybe he didn't even really electrocute him and assuming something else is controlling him, maybe that something just acted how it thought dogen expected (sayid would have memories of people being electrocuted probably). or maybe the ash should have protected him and it didn't. no clue really, but vary curious.

also, sayid was tortured by Rousseau early on - i think electrocuted- and i don't recall him responding the way he did this time around.
