Pats now have 2 picks in each of the first 4 rounds next year.

It's amazing how smart their front office is at never overpaying for players while remaining competitive. Couple that with their scouting department's ability to draft studs and you see why they are the best run franchise in the NFL.

Obviously the Pats feel good enough about their WR core to just get rid of Moss like this. I question what it is going to do to their pass game. Welker is going to get the best cover guys now. Aaron Hernandez will probably become a much bigger feature of the offense along with Brandon Tate.

They just did with Moss what we should have done with DeAngelo. Get value when you don't want to overpay and know you don't have a chance of resigning the guy if he becomes a FA.

If they gave us back our 2nd rounder we traded to move up to get Armanti that would be

Talk about a jack move, they would have the entire NFL laughing at how we got played. Essentially trading Steve Smith to move up ~10 spots to draft ARMANTI FUCKING EDWARDS. That would be salt in the wound for sure.

It will be very interesting to see what the Pats do. I too think they may make a move to V Jax or they may very well sit on the massive amount of picks in the draft. I know they have the Raiders 1st rounder (which is looking like a possible top 5 pick) and go for the gusto - Although this is not really a WR heavy year.

I been wondering how the Pats may align themselves up for Mark Ingram. They seriously need a starting RB.

Woodhead will not be "featured" more. If anything you will see Welker and Edelman with Tate being featured more...and alot of Hernandez stretching the field.

I do expect the Pats to trade down once, but they still will be in position to make a big pick if they choose.


As a side note.....WTH...the Raiders are straight abusing the Chargers.

he tried to run it in on a 3rd-goal (on about the 3 or 4 yard line), scrambled after seeing good coverage by NO, and got creamed, fumbled, and then the helmet came off, but a lineman (Arizona) picked it up and ran it in... his own players tried to carry him off the field so they could get the extra point off before a challenge (failed at that, but the play was upheld)
