I love Don Sutton.

AHAHAHA If you're going anywhere in downtown Houston tonight. Don't go. That 3 run BOMB by McCann just packed the streets.

Do my eyes deceive me or did Uggla really reach base four times in five PA last night?

Can you imagine if he comes around and Heyward gets healthy? Braves already have the best staff in the majors, couple that with even an above-average lineup and they're unstoppable.

I'm just totally in love with the pitching. JJ and Hanson are going to be top of the league #1s, Beachy, Minor and Medlen should be good middle of the rotation guys, Teheran or Vizcaino could be better than all of them (or they could be Jose Capellan). Hudson and Lowe are signed through next year. Lowe looks like he's about to break down, always wearing down quickly, but either could be good trade pieces.

Jonny Venters is the best reliever in baseball, we've got three closers finishing out the game. Even freaking George Sherrill is killing it.

I came in here to post that the Phillies had a better staff, but damn... the Braves team ERA is under 3 right now.

I suspect the Phillies team ERA+ would be better though, given the home ballpark.

Braves have the better number anyway

Oh come on, I edited that within seconds.

Where can you see team ERA+? Does B-R have that?

So much for that 7 game winning streak.

Possibility Heyward is back in the line up for Wednesday nights game. Just in time for his first bobble head night!

I guess jordan was the only one that wanted to play lastnight.

This week we need to get that shit eating grin off Reyes face.

well, that was a very, very good week. Pitching is still amazing...hitting picked up in Houston, but we faced some below-average pitching. I've never seen us hit wandy rodriguez...ever

He's very tough on lefties and all your good hitters are either lefty or hit better from the left side, so its somewhat to be expected.

having Hicks, Mather and Young all in the lineup at the same time didn't help either. I won't berate Hicks but I will say he makes routine throws to 1st look difficult.

Schafer on the other hand is coming on strong, has hit in 6 of his last 7 games. 3 of the games he had 2 hits and last night he showed some power. Really happy to see him turn it around

Yep, Gwinnett would score more runs than this lineup

Braves are toast if JJ gives up more than two

LOL at Klesko. I still consider him one of the biggest wastes of talent even though he had a few good years. As a kid, I expected him to be the next Eddie Matthews.

I was always fascinated by the two years he stole over 20 bases when before or after that he never stole more than like 5.

Whiny twat. Mets still won the fucking game. Can't believe the Marlins lost that night cap with Phillies. Lost 2.5 games in the standings in two days. Mets need to realize they suck.
