So I am working on this very thing right now. My entire post pregnancy body makes me sad so I am hoping swimming will help this out. We shall see. I know about the fat arm debacle.

Having a kid is a valid excuse as long as you are working on it.

In general though Americans get too fat when pregnant; you don't need to gain 40 lbs to have a kid. Eat healthy, eat when you are hungry, be fit and active and follow your pre-natal regiment and thy baby is going to be fine. Too many women take getting pregnant as an excuse to get fat.

I saw a picture of my gf's mother when pregnant with my gf. She was still tiny and pretty hot. Its important to always consider the mother when making these kinds of decisions.

thats why i mentioned way back in the thread the importance of making sure that your girl is thin naturally, and not because she works her ass off to be thin. cause at some point she is not going to be running everyday and you are going to find yourself with a fat chick.
