Imagine what it would be like to have billions and own a club like the guy at Anzhi...like having yourself a real live fantasy team. rio/vidic go down, there's Smalling, Evans, and Jones to cover. Smalling's not going to play RB all season. Fabio's still available to play RB or LB, and Rafael will be back in October.


we don't need any more defenders... or strikers/wingers for that matter. we need one more CM, be it Sneijder or Fletcher, I don't care, but we need one more body available for the CL long haul.

Good player but he won't be able to get away with his same old tricks at Spurs where they're supposed to be challenging for europe. Too often at West Ham he'd linger on the ball, do a few spins and lose possession, then chase the guy down, tackle him from behind and give away a free kick. Then he'd get praised for his work rate.

IDK, just a thought. If you have ever been in sales, meaning big B2B type sales, it's not uncommon for a customer to want the dog & pony show where the big boss flies into town to sign the papers himself. Probably not typical in European soccer, but who knows...

Crouch to Stoke. Good move for them, they are weak up front. Only goal scorer they have is Jones. Crouch may do very well there, they are a big team that does well on set pieces so his height should fit in nicely with their system.

Can't understand turning it down. It's a dick move on Chelsea's part to finally bump it up so close to the window closing, but c'mon, does anyone really think Modric is gonna play hard for Spurs this year after Levy's antics?

If I recall, Modric pulled some shit at Dinamo before Spurs bought him where he wanted a move and Dinamo refused and he played like shit afterwards.

Sandro and VdV need to heal up quick or Spurs won't be movin' too far in the table from where they are now.


Spurs have actually had a decent window otherwise, gotten around 30m from sales and trimmed a bunch of dead weight off the wage bill.
