I have a feeling the Braves will just go with Jack Wilson and let Pastronicky just be a backup. Pastornickys D is simply too horrible to let him take the field everyday. Wilson will hit .125 during his stint as the starter.

I would love to see the Braves get Upton as he is still young and has great upside still. Trading Prado though is dumb as hell since he's in line to take over for Chipper next year at 3B. I don't understand why Wren is so hell bent on trading Prado. Dude is irreplaceable for the Braves considering his position flexibility.

Also the Braves need to be trading for starting pitching, not another bat.

I just looked at the Braves top outfield prospects and that list is quite scary. Scary as in, there really isn't much down the line. They are gonna have to make some moves if Bourne walks at the end of the year and Prado moves in to 3B.

The Braves entire farm system is looking like shit right now since all of the hitting prospects are already in the bigs (Simmons, Heyward, Freeman) and the young pitchers are either here or have not yet lived up to the hype (Vizcaino, Teheran, Minor, Delgado, etc).

Shit the catcher the Braves had in the futures game has a sub .600 OPS in AA right now His defense is supposedly amazing and that is why he made the team, but for guy with that weak of a bat to be the Braves only representative is a bad omen.

they supposedly have him on an limited inning plan where they arent going to let him go past 160 innings (iirc) because this is his first year back from his TJ surgery, but, when they set that limit they didnt exactly think they would be doing this good, so now everyone is wondering if they will stick to that or not, especially if they get to the post season.

two great games this weekend. Got to the park and to my seats right at first pitch Saturday after underestimating traffic. But man, great to see a hard fought comeback on Saturday and Kimbrel shut it down and then a great return from Sheets on Sunday with the offense to back it up. I thought my gf was going to orgasm in her FFF jersey Sunday

I am shocked at how well Sheets pitched yesterday. Give it a few more starts to see if that elbow will hold up and if hitters will adjust. Even with that one win, they got more out of him than I expected. Dude was barely supposed to ever even be able to throw a ball again, much less pitch professionally.

Great weekend overall for the Braves. I cannot ever remember an Atlanta team this streaky.
