Surprised Cat didn't make the SC Top 10. He made at least 3 plays in the 2nd half that were as good as I've ever seen a State player make -- a zig-zagging fast break layup, the Euro-step layup, then a nasty double crossover jumper.

Even if we suck this year, he'll be fun to watch.

Kris Dunn and Melo Trimble are both great PGs on teams much better than ours. Cat is definitely having a great season, but he will probably be held back to a certain degree come end of the year awards due to our team having a down year.

I've been saying the same thing on here since zo and leslie declared. Its always been the rule of thumb because thats the point at which it makes financial sense financially. NC State players have always been vulnerable to the money hungry agents filling their ears up with bullshit but if you look around the country, you will see more often than not, big time players follow expert advice.

You're right, he has the green light to shoot as much as he wants. I'm not complaining, I'm just saying theres no way he's the best player in the ACC just because he leads it in scoring. He just happens to be a great player on one of the worst teams. He leads the league in scoring only because he takes the most shots as opposed to someone like Warren.

Warren got many high percentage shots, Barber's a point guard, its difficult for someone like that to lead the league in scoring percentages when their constantly getting double teamed.

No Cat shooting the most out of the top 19 ACC scorers does NOT imply that he should pass the ball more. Thats just a bad assumption on your part because none of the other top scorers are on his team. If anything, it would imply that he scores a lot BECAUSE he doesn't have another big time scorer to pass it to. This ultimately leads to us losing almost every game. I don't see how you can give a guy an award for being the one great scorer on a shitty team.

Again, just because I don't think cat is the best, doesn't mean I am criticizing him or complaining.
