A friend of Wilson apparently called into a St. Louis radio station and said this.

It does seem farfetched, especially the reaching into the car part. Something and to provoke that.

But assuming it was Brown in the video stealing from the convenience store, it makes him seem pretty brazen, which is probably why the cops released this video.

It's interesting they'll release video of brown accusing him of a crime unconnected to the shooting (as they initially claimed), but won't release any more information to help people actually understand why the encounter happened.

I can see Brown trying to take the cop's gun while he's still strapped into the car, but the kid had to be seriously fucked up in the head to have taunted the officer about not arresting him and then coming back at him when his gun's drawn. That's bath salts level mentally deranged if it's true. If the officer had just been beat up in his car, there's a good chance that simply seeing the kid turn around on him would have been perceived by the officer as a worst case scenario bull-charge.

Holy shit these cops are idiots. The protesters reached the end of the protest zone, and a small standoff ensued. Ministers and community leaders convinced the crowd to turn around peacefully, but when they had retreated 50 yards Ron Johnson left the scene and the cops brought in all of the armored vehicles and sonic weapons. Now all hell is breaking loose and the media have formed a human shield in front of the protesters.

Tank with machine gun turret has now driven directly into the crowd.

It appears they are using vehicles to herd people down the street where the media cameras can't see them.
