Now, are we talking about wheelbase or track? Wheelbase is front to rear, track is left to right. Assuming we're talking track because wheelbase is harder to determine from tracks left on the ground, then the only thing I can think of with a track under 4' would have to be a golfcart or ATV, but I can't think of a single vehicle that could possibly fall in that range.

Anyways, wonder how long this will drag out

But 3'11" is about right for a golf cart. I wonder if the Toll Brothers office has (had?) a golf cart on site for potential buyers to ride out to see the empty lots. A golf cart wouldnt weigh much either, it would have been difficult to cast tire tracks that were very shallow...

i have a miata and the track width is about 4'8"

I agree with the theory that someone measured from the front wheel track on one side to the rear wheel track on the opposite side, which could have resulted in an erroneous measurement IF the car was turning at that point

You would try and measure the track width at the point where they stop if possible. Thats how I got the chevy work van measurement above, I have a gravel driveway and the appliance repairman was here this morning, he turned around in a sandy area adjacent to the gravel drive.

They will probably break tomorrow around 2:30 with a verdict. I don't think it'll be a conviction because anyone that suspects he is innocent would not have enough evidence to switch to guilty.

If 9 of the jurors think he is guilty i think we'll get a hung jury, if 9, right now, think he is innocent I strongly believe we'll get a not guilty. Based on the jury make up, I suspect that our situation is the former. I much rather have the man exonerated and the case dismissed; that would be much better for his life as a whole.
