I've actually found betting select baseball favorites to be quite profitable this season. The people that make the lines usually know what they are doing, and a lot of times their are very cheap favorites which thus far have been pretty solid (i.e. -115 to -140).

For example, B.Webb pitching tonight for the Dbacks at Mets for -130.. what a bargain! .. NO JINX!

i guess getting out of the 10cents area is the hardest, cause its always all or nothing, and then you keep going all or nothing. with more bets in a day you can average out and lose a little or come out ahead, but with all or nothing parlays its a crap shoot if you keep your moneys.

I'm going with the Celtics +7 today. They've been playing very strongly in a hostile environment and have been handling the Lakers all tournament. I think it will be a close game but I feel the better bet is the +7.

^^There are a few pretty good teams (record wise) and then they're are some really really shitty ones. Some of the spreads just seem way off for who is playing so we'll see what happens.

The O/U are pretty funny too. Anywhere from 130-160. I bet the under on one game because it was 176.
