i will probably end up putting some of it toward my run for the LLS BUT at the same time i'm also dirt poor this summer having no job (as of yet - hopefully getting a part time one), not taking out a bar study loan (too many loans already) so the money is like definitely going to be needed by me (like not even for cool stuff, for like food).

oh i understand!!! i mean the card part would make me sad. not the gift part. i'm kind of a sentimental person and if my parent(s) didn't get me a card i'd feel like what did i do wrong. but i mean if they said "congrats" or something i guess that would suffice. my family is a card family so i'd be really sketched if i didn't get a card. my dad likes to write long narratives in cards hahaha

one year my parents didn't call me on my birthday and i cried. not cause i wanted a present just cause its my PARENTS. but i was also drunk which lead to the crying. normally i probably would have just been without the crying.

^^ that is how i felt when my mom didn't call me! cause she always did. i GUESS in her defense we had celebrated my bday the night before so that i could go out (to a kelly clarkson concert bhahahaha) with my friends on my bday. but still i thought she'd call i was very sad

now i need to call my grandmother and thank her but i don't think i can without crying.
