oh man, bojangles

it's been too long since i've had bojangles. but, dieting isn't something you do half-ass, and i've had such great progress that the benefits of my diet/exercise regimen far outweigh a bacon and cheese biscuit with hashbrown and iced tea

anyone who was anyone was at bojangles either before school, after school, or both

of course, it didn't help that bojangles was the only fast food place within a 5-mile radius

idk, i'm not always a biscuit sandwich person. i got more the lunch thing - 2 pieces, biscuit, mashed potatoes.

in hs, we had a road that had anything from cookout, mcdonalds, wendys, bojangles, and further down sonics, subway, taco bell, burger king. then we had the mall right near us too, so that was stuff like sbarros, chinese food, starbucks, etc etc.

we were right in the middle of a lot of stuff.

i went to HS out in the sticks, so not only did we have no fast food near us, but we didn't have open lunch either

of course, they started open lunch (when you can leave campus for lunch) the year after i graduated

yeah, we were right by high point rd (in greensboro). it used to be the street to 'cruise' down fri/sat nights when that used to be the thing to do. only seniors were supposed to be able to leave for lunch, but since we were sooo close to everything, a LOT of kids walked off campus or would skip for the day and go to the mall. we were also one of the high schools in the less wealthy part of gso.
