It's for a chicago food that I learned to make for matt.

So, if not for him, I wouldn't have introduced my family to it (this past christmas).

And so I told him "You know, if you hadn't already been in good with my folks..."

(Meanwhile, other branches of the family were all "Italian beef?O.o and were TERRIFIED of the oregano floating in the broth, and wouldn't touch it til they saw matt and I and my folks and my demented grandfather chowing down. If I'd made that for Z's family, it'd have been gone in <20minutes. THEY THREW SOME OF THIS STUFF AWAY. Fine, not my problem. I don't intend to ever see any of these folks again, except for funerals)
