i may try and log in this afternoon and work from home for a little bit, even though they told me to wait till next week.

pains been ok, except last night i was brushing my teeth, lost my balance and had to put weight on my bum leg to not fall into the bathtub ass first.. hurt like a motherfucker after that for a few hours.

sleeping ok, making it through most of the night, except once to get up and take more pills.

earlier in the week, by like, 3 hours after taking the pills i was in really bad pain, but didnt want to over medicate, so would just deal with it

now, i can last for about 5 hours, whent he dosing schedule is every 4..

some weird side effects though.

im really, really trying to take it super easy in hopes that i can get in a boot in three weeks instead of going to a regular cast after three. get some sort of mobility.

im getting pretty impressive on crutches though, and ive found that i can wear a backpack... so moving things around in my backpack has been good.

bout to go heat up some leftover chimichonga/rice/beans/cheese, put into a container and hoist back over to the couch.

my friends have been great with helping me walk/feed the dog and keeping me in line with everything i need.

camping is always great the first night, when you stay up late watching the fire burn, drinking beer and telling stories

then it sucks when you wake up at the crack of dawn laying in a pool of your own sweat, inside of a tent that is like a sauna of farts, morning breath and body odor. Multiply that by 10 if you are sharing a tent with someone else

camping breakfasts are always good too, and then the first 2 or 3 beers that you have before 10am. But then the eventual, midday, now-what-am-I-gonna-do mindset kicks in, where you could either read a book, cook something, play card games, take a nap or continue getting wasted drunk

haha you're doing it wrong... A) open up the vents to your tent (at night it is not a problem), B) yeah, it gets hot and steamy during the day, but you shouldn't be in there during the day anyway (and to remedy that if you have to, just open up the doors on the tent to get a breeze, or get a tent fan), C) Sand- that is controllable... just be careful when getting into the tent to knock off your shorts, feet, etc... (and no shoes inside the tent)

none of these have been an issue for me when camping during the summer
