well after 2 weeks of simulation i rolled out a project ive been working on for over a year to the 13 production systems, sequentially, and it came off with one one minor hitch that was fixed within an hour.

im pretty damn pumped

it's going to be a weird week

prep and data load today, midnight zero hour go live tuesday, travel wednesday, deploy config validation onsite thursday, go live validation friday->sunday, then up and down the gulf coast the following week plant to plant doing training.

well, the real training regimine lasts for the next 4 weeks, but ill only have 1.5 weeks onsite.

i convinced them that me being on the gulf coast for 4 weeks wasnt necessary and i can be "on call" for the other two weeks for support/guidance.



i trained the super users in november for a few weeks, and it's ideally the super users training the regular users, but we know how that goes.

yesterday went by crazy fast.

i didnt even get to pull my ipod out till after 5pm, which usually comes on no later than 815. Unfortunately i was stuck workin' till about 10 last night.

today ive got conf. calls 8-9, 9-10,10-1130 (haircut 12-1), 2-4, then a few hours of testing and documentation

then flyin' out tommorow afternoon, but I dont plan on doing much in the morning
