What kind of tournament style did you start to play. I mean, were you a "any two will do" kinda guy or did you stick mostly to entering pots with two big cards, pairs, or suited connects (of course position makes a difference, but in general?) 11/2/2006 9:30:26 AM |

oh david- back to my hand i posted before. i put him on an under pair to the board the way he bet out like that. he had been going bananas with pre flop raises and i didnt feel he hit the flop. i guess i made a good read.
again, at worse case scenario i figured we were chopping the pot with AA33K 11/2/2006 11:15:53 AM |

Last page you said you put him on the Ace and now you are saying low pair? Also, if you figure a chop, why not check the river again? He could have had shit and folded to your bet on the river, but if you check he goes all in and pays you off. Doubt it would matter in this scenario since your all in was just $25, but for future cases.... 11/2/2006 11:26:01 AM |

hey now
the place is like 130 years old, and turns out what i was bitching about the other day, a tree fell across a line down the street.
wasnt my boboassed landlord's fault.... this time
and he paid off the water bill, so that didnt get cut off, it was just a scare that came down to the wire.
Id rather live in a pretty sweet historic house in a very high end neighborhood than a cookie cutter apt under a I95 overpass or in the fucking hood (which were my other options at this price range,, ~800/mo.). hell i got lukcy to get this place as is. im putting a good bit of work into it, and its turning around into a pretty nice dig, if you can get past a few rough spots.
As for what I do, I work for dupont corporate engineering, in the Insturments and control systems group, but more towards plant information processing than actual controls work.
essentially its internal consulting, leading to project work across the global corporation.
today im working on a project linking plant production data across three sites in three continents.
its kinda cool, but too much time behind a computer.11/2/2006 3:47:24 PM |
