3^ when i went to change my last name from my maiden to my married name, facebook wouldn't let me keep LK b/c they said it was a nickname. I've been listed as "LK [Last Name]" since I joined facebook 5+ years ago, but their policies have since changed. I argued that LK, while a nickname, was more of a shortened version of my name (like Brad for Bradley), and that I should be able to be listed as such. Especially since I've been called LK by my friends and family pretty much exclusively since I was ~12.

After 2 weeks exchanging e-mails with them...they finally changed it.

I win! hehe
