i mean some THINGS can be meaningful to people. i know they're just things, but there are things of both my mother's and my grandmother's that if someone was going to toss them i'd be like "NOOOOOOOO" and want to take them. i know they're just things or furniture or whatever to everyone else, but to me they are meaningful.

edit: ok so i totally didn't read the entire thing xtine posted. wow. that is intense. my family did not spell stuff out like that. when you get something from a will you get it and then its yours. in our family that is how it has been. i'd be sad if my cousins got something and it was sentimental to me and they sold it, but i mean...whatever. they do what they do. and they do that sort of thing.
