The dresses came.

Neither size fit: my boobs weren't big enough (who the hell did they make these for? ), the waist sat funny, and I'm too short for the dress (it's couple inches below my knees)

if they had just TOLD me what shape A was before i did all those measurements i could have toldddd them that my hips are wider than my bust. duh.

I'm shape S apparently. It was cool to do that because I've had trouble deciding if I'm a pear or an hourglass, in other shape terms. I have some huge hips and narrow shoulders, but also a big bust.

Oddly enough, I'm an M.

I always considered myself a pear (no boobs here), but I have the shoulders of a linebacker.

omg is it possible to find a futon cover that doesn't look like its from 1982? lol.

i just got a new mattress and right now i have a solid black cover (that i had on my old one) and i dressed it up with cute pillows from target. and i mean that is fine and i can probably stick with that. i was just looking around for other things and they're all so hideous. my futon isn't metal framed or anything - it is wooden and nice and modern but the covers i've found for futons are anything BUT modern. they're like denim or worse.

I did the myshape and I'm also an M. I don't see the point though because probably half the clothes they're showing me are WTF? I put that I want a snug fit in the waist and knee-length skirts (narrow waist is my best feature and EVERYTHING I wear has to have a wast!) But they keep showing me these voluminous shirts, weird jumpers, and shortie shorts.

for example ... WTF???

Nerdchick, I had the same prob! I don't think that baggy look does much for any woman's figure. The waistlines are very odd for M shapes.

And khcad, I love the purple dress, but it's def hippyish.

^^That one is super cute. You should get that and then take pics using photobooth - but only if your animals are in it or if you are making entertaining facial exressions

Ebay is my go to website. i won the computer I'm typing on now from there and I have also gotten VS dresses from there for about $10.

Usually I don't have extra cash lying around to go on spending sprees. So when I do go clothes shopping it might be every 3 or 4 months I actually buy stuff. Otherwise the only way I can convince myself to buy things is if I find good deals on ebay or someplace like Marshalls.

^^ haha well i'm not actually buying right now i'm putting stuff on ebay on my "watch" list

usually when i am shopping i never end up buying stuff.

but i usually check places like ebay, overstock, and amazon if i want something first. and then sales. like last week when old navy was having a 20% off online sale i just did that cause old navy is cheap and + 20% each item made stuff like dresses and skirts like $10 each.

i also do ruelala and hautelook. they have designer clothes on the cheap but a lot of them are still expensive. so i don't buy a LOT from there...i only really look when brands i like come up like citizen or splendid or hanky panky.

^ yea exactly. i just look for good deals. but half the time i'm "shopping" online i'm not actually ordering. i'm just loookin. but yea ebay rules. thanks to lucyinthesky for putting that idea in my head! i have tons of shit on my watch list. there are a lot of good deals on jcrew and VS dresses on there, too. you can get them on the cheap.

Also if you shop through places like Ebates or ShopAtHome, you can earn cash back rebates on your purchases.

After you sign up (you get $5 for signing up at either one), just search for whatever store you want to shop online at. Like Old Navy gives 4% at Ebates. They send out rebate checks once a quarter.

If your'e going to buy something online, why not check and see if you can get cash back on your purchase? It's free money and you can still use coupon/promotion codes on your orders.

And now for the shameless self promotion: My referral link for Ebates:
