i lived in the Raleigh Apts one summer (no AC). it was definitely HOT

i had an AC unit in my living room but that barely did anything cause i was in a 1bdrm not a studio so it was way too big to cool with just that. luckily i was working 2 jobs and was barely home and when i was i just sat right by the AC unit. i tried to avoid sleeping there but when i did i had a HUGE fan in my window which was right by my bed. it wasn't THAT bad but - if i had to do it again i'd definitely want an AC unit in the bedroom.

and at my beach house we don't have ac! there are now window units in every room because of complaining renters. usually there's a breeze at the beach coming from SOMEWHERE, so you just find that spot and stay in it! and there's the ocean. but it still gets deathly hot in late june/july/early august.

you just stick it out OR find someone else's house to sleep at.
