what's the difference between venus and venus divine?

i have a venus razor. i use it and the intuition, depending on how much time i have or how close of a shave i want.

the Divine is for more intricate work if you get my drift haha

I haven't used it yet. I haven't shaved my legs since September.


I've been using Venus that I got a few years ago, I want to get one of the new Venus Divines cause they're pink. My mom uses that Intuition and seems to like it a lot.

which one gives you a closer shave?

the divine is an intense moisturizer

the divine i got is dark blue haha

venus gives a closer shave that intuition

but intuition allows for a much faster shave, which is great when i'm in a hurry

yep, that's another reason i keep 2 razors

although, intuition isn't bad for a quick pass over that area when i'm pressed for time and don't need a "perfect" shave in that area sort of a quick routine maintenance

I don't knick my legs as much with an intuition and I like that when I'm shaving in the shower in a hurry. It seems like with anything else I'll always end up with a few cuts.

which cartridge do you use? I have the sensitive skin one...keeps down on the razor bizzurn in that area too

^^^ yeah i prefer the closer shave. and i definitely take the time for it when it's necessary

but when i'm running late for work i rely on the intuition to get me by

^ i have been using the pink label (i think it's normal scent for normal to dry skin)

but i hadn't thought of getting the sensitive cartridge for use in that area...i'll have to try it though b/c i definitely do suffer from razor burn once in awhile

i used to use personal touch, omg what a granny razor. i couldnt believe razors actually bent to your shape haha

I don't think I would mind the pain too much.

What I really need is my legs waxed. Shaving is a pain in the ass for me because I get stubble very quickly.

yea but to get your legs waxed you gotta let it grow out to atleast 1/4" so they can wax it

so sure you're smoove for a long time, but then you gotta be all sasquatch in order to stay smoove

I want a brazillian but just waxing in general is painful...I can't imagine what it would be like on me cooch

of course, shaving that area makes me extremely nervous too when it comes to the tight turns and the inner, most delicate areas

Yeah I think I'd much rather get that area waxed and be hair free for a few weeks than risk cutting it by having to shave all the time. Of course I'm cheap and don't want to spend that much money on the vagina.

i got a free schick quattro in the mail the other day. i'm going to give that a try in the special area next time i shave...which should be sometime before this weekend. i'm curious to see if the 4-blade makes a difference, yet i'm nervous b/c more blades means better chance of cutting

it takes me forever to shave that area b/c i am so afraid of cutting myself. i seriously take like 15 minutes (longer if it has been awhile). i only spend about 2-3 minutes on my legs...less if i'm using intuition.

i tried those noxema razors a few years ago when they came out, i was not impressed at all- they only have 1 blade so they don't really give you a close or exact shave

i think the intuition (with the sens skin cartridge) works better than any of the venus razors. i've tried the regular and the divine, but i always get irritated. the intuition gives a comfortable shave, decently close, and doesn't leave you with any razor burn or itching.

^ yes, exactly what i was wondering. like i said, i use the intuition in that area for quick passes on the larger areas, but find it very difficult to get it into the tight areas

i was talking about both... there isn't really a need for lotion afterwards on your legs if you use the intuition, but if you use a venus and don't use lotion, i always have itchy skin
