^^ compared to the rest of the shit here in mexico its not so bad really. tons of shitty little courier pickups, fiats, seats, cheap scooters and ATVs, its amazing really

i saw a mexican army truck towing a nice twin outboard mexican boat, with a mexican army guy who looked about 15 sitting in the pilot seat of the boat grinning like hell. there was a regular sized boom style wrecker pulling a full size charter bus. every dumptruck has bent wheels and they still haul ass. their exhausts and tailights are optional. apparantly if you own a porsche you can blow past the cops at twice the speed limit. in cancun yesterday i saw a taxi with a broken tie rod, wheels pointed out in two different directions, doing 20mph. all this was on the highway. there is no dedicated turn lane, if you wanna turn you turn from apparantly noone paid attention to the speedbumps so they replaced them with steel half spheres bolted to the concrete. they randomly place them along the roads, even the highways. i did see a g wagen, and a range rover sport uptown, but out here where our resort is its mostly shitty cars/trucks/car-trucks. its nice and quiet here though.

Though it was not kept up real well. On the small pane of glass behind the seats he put a #8 Dale Earnhardt sticker

if you mix those two up you have scale perception problems and haven't seen the fronts.
what i am trying to say is lambos are all about popular opinion and being cool... the better the popular opinion the cooler they are thus there is no such thing as an over-rated lambo.
but if you go from a performance aspect then they're all over-rated.

yeah, i know the lambo is bigger and wider and looks like a baby murcielago from the the front. i just don't understand why everyone thinks they look so damn awesome. most exotic cars are extremely distinctive, which is what i would think would make them cool. the gallardo just looks like someone stuck the front of a murcielago on the back of a mr-s and called it a day. it doesn't even have the trademark lambo doors. every time i see one, all i can think is "waste of money".

but to each his own i guess.

I'm in Vegas for a conference for work this week. I went by an Exotic car dealership in Caeser's Palace, and a Ferrari Dealership in the Wynn casino.

Cars seen (order of coolness imho):
1) Ferrari FXX!!!!
2) 2003 Porsche GT2
3) 1990 Ferrari Testarossa in BEAUTIFUL condition (still think these look so awesome)
4) 1980 Porsche Indy Race Car (Never raced, interesting story about Indy specs changing a month before the race)
5) 2002 Ferrari 575M

Plus numerous other F430's and such. Ya know, the boring ones All in all, very cool!
