linderman has to play a big part in this somewhere. there is no reason why he would pay $4 million for that painting (thought i heard 4mil) unless he knows the true significance of it or to lure people all towards vegas in a sort of setup coincidence, this will get petrelli moving backs towards vegas and hopefully running into hiro near texas?

thoughts? (sorry for half-ramble)

also- the S mark and the two dashes on the cops neck seem like they could go together to form a dna helix like someone before mentioned. All these(people's marks) together could form the entire picture of the helix and kind of create a closure of people with special powers.

The only people we know who have done that is Peter and Isaac (the eye thing). Claire doesn't when she heals, Hiro doesn't when he teleports, Nathan just flies, Matt just hears peoples thoughts, and Niki just switches personalities.

Great episode, I am glad they moving plot along pretty well. Seeing Micah's power was nice. I think he still may have more powers, or his pwers are more extensive than we thought.

The Tattoo's and symbols have me very interested in the connection.

linderman somehow seems connected to several of these people...is it possible that linderman = sylar, or has some connection with sylar?

And Linderman didn't pay 4 mil for the painting, he gave Nathan 4 mil to invest in his campaign. They also have the sex tape just in case he bails on them. Something is very important about him winning this election.

How far do you think Hiro's time stopping ability goes? Far as in distance. Is he stopping the entire earth's time, or just each localized area? For the sake of logic he'd have to stop everything everywhere, because a localized occurance would cause everything to be out of whack, or cause it to somehow skip over the time that was paused to catch back up to normal time.

I was just talking with a buddy, and a good point was brought up. The S and the equal sign...is it possible that the S is just an equal sign with the S through it? I'm trying to remember the symbol, but maybe that will distinguish good vs evil?

I don't think the tattoo's represent good & evil. It can't be that simple. Plus only 3 of them have the tattoo that I remember (Matt, Niki, and new radiation guy).

Of course they mean something big, but I can't see it marking them good hero & bad hero.

And I agree with you that Hiro must be able to stop time with no limits...or there is really going to be some problems with the time continuim

So explain this to me, it sounded from Nathan's phone conversation with Linderman that he was able to convince him to give him the painting. Why did he tell Peter later that Linderman wasn't going to give it up? Why even bother asking if he didn't intend on giving it to Peter anyway? Or did I just misinterpret the conversation between Nathan and Linderman?

i thought last nights episode was kind of lame compared to the other episodes

Anyone else think Jessica (Aka Niki) could be Sylar? So you think Peter finally realized his talent? He seemed to realize it when he was around his brother when he said I could fly away right then.

Can he take on anybody's specialities even non heroes such as Simones father...he seemed to grasp the stock market real well when talking to him, which is how I think the old guy made his money. Either that or he was just conversing and I am thinking to far into it.

The cop, Peter, and Hiro are my favorites. I think it's because those are the only 3 who have even thought about the possibility of using their powers for good. Nathan's just a dick; Claire is to naive to see what's going on and mostly uses her power in conjunction with typical teenage angst; Isaac is too worried about his heroin to care about anything else; Niki ... I'm not sure if that's even a real superpower, but she sure as shit isn't doing anything worthwhile with it. The hatch marks don't correlate directly with the S from what I see. They don't seem to fit and they're not around the same area of the body as well. If anything it's just a sign of their brain being cleaned by Mr. Bennetts partner.

Which brings me to believe that Bennett has had prior contact with Nuke-Man and if he does indeed blow up NY City then Bennett is bad and had something to do with that?

This episode also answers the question about whether other heroes aren't effected by Hiro's ability.
DL was frozen as well during the car crash.
Which leaves it to either Peter wasn't effected by it because of the nature of his ability or...
Hiro can eventually control what stops and doesn't stop, which brings a WHOLE lot of connotations with it involving
space and time.

I think that he gave Pertrelli the $$ to support his campaign. Remember, he originally offered 2 million but Pertrelli talked him into getting 4. Lindermen used whats her name to seduce Pertrelli so if he ran off with the $$$, Lindermen could blackmail him.

^^ That's why I brought up the fact about stopping time everywhere. Either:

a) Peter is immune to the stoppage of time due to the fact he can absorb abilities
b) Hiro is even MORE badass and can pick and choose what is stopped. That of course makes no sense to me, would cause all kinds of Rifts and whatnot.

But, something to confirm (a) is that he went to see Peter instead of visiting Issac. If he tried to visit Issac he may have just been frozen and useless.

I think I want to watch the second episode again and see everything I may have missed the first time when Hiro is in the future.
