I'm thinking Ahman Green and Deuce, but something tells me that one of those teams is gonna blow the other out, meaning I'd only get significant yardage/TD points from one of them. Portis apparently isn't playing. Maroney looked good against Buffalo, but so would I, and they draw the Jets this week. I'm kinda iffy on Cadillac. What say you?

i mean one of those might blow up, but they also might have a bad day and their other RB gets most of the carries

Can you help me decide who to use?
My wide recievers are J. Galloway v ATL, A. Johnson v INDY, Ma. Jones v Pitt, S. Smith v Minn, and E. Kennison v Den. And should I start J. Addai or Deangelo Williams? Also, will Roethlisberger be back in this week or should I keep Rivers as my quarterback?

it definitely sounds like roethlisberger will play, although i am in your same situation.

i have rivers starting right now, but can't really decide who to go with. i know rivers only threw 11 times last week, but i can't help thinking about the 300 yards pennington put up against the titans defense. on the other hand jacksonville will be a tough game for pittsburgh, so ben may be forced to throw, while marty would probably be just fine continuing to make rivers hand it off every play.

it's a tough call that i won't have to make until 4pm on sunday, thankfully.

^^actually maroney had more carries than dillon in week one i believe. i would go with cadillac and then either deuce or green, or maybe deuce and green since cadillac is missing some linemen. definitely rule out portis though

I'd go with Andre Johnson - the Ravens will go up VERY early on Oakland and Jamal Lewis may get 30 or more carries. Meanwhile the Texans may wind up passing more, meaning more opps for Johnson.

what i meant to say was those guys were or are going to be acquired by trade

right now I have a trade on the table to get Alexander for Plaxico, now i just put a trade to get reggie bush for Santana Moss, im thinkin if i want to do that or not, and I couldddd possibly trade peyton for LT and yes i already have edge, hes the only one i still have

my running game has been weak though with only edge and lamont, i need someone who will go off this week, the LT for peyton i dont think i will do

is Moss for Bush a good move?

Well, the logic is...

McNair vs. shitty Oakland, which means they might get up and then let the defense and Jamal Lewis win the game.

or...

Leftwich vs. Pitt, they may get down and need to throw the ball more.

If you only start 1 QB i wouldnt trade for Pennington.

He's injury prone and on a terrible team... you'll never start him over Eli and probably infrequently over Leftwich

Yeah, only one QB. I was thinking the trade was a bad idea. He told me he was looking for some RB help. And I mean, Edge isn't terrible, and Parker is pretty good, but after that, I haven't got much. So I'm not sure what he was after from my team in terms of RBs.

What do you think about which defense to start this week?

Cinci's D. They had the most picks last year. I expect picking off Charlie Frye and the Clowns won't be much of a chore.

OK I have been offered a trade, he sends me Chris Brown and Vernon Davis, and I send him Lamont Jordan. Jordan has of course been a huge dissapointment on week one. My other RB's are Warrick Dunn, Mike Bell, and Frank Gore, and they have all done pretty good. My only TE is Mercedes Lewis, and he is questionable.

So is this a good trade? Do you think Jordan will overcome his horrible line? Will Smith keep going to Davis?

i just traded julius jones for anquan boldin...

normally that may seem stupid, but i'm rb heavy and i think dallas is going to throw the ball much more with the addition of TO.

i still have 3 very solid rb's for the 2 spots and the flex spot: larry johnson, willie parker, and frank gore (9 times out of 10 jones will be on the bench to those 3 rb's).

my wide receivers were questionable with houshmanzadeh and a lingering injury, plaxico burress and drew bennett...now i have anquan and housh as my top two with plaxico and bennett available if matchups restrict a rb or wr...

thoughts?

note: julius jones has only 12 touchdowns in the past 2 full seasons

this week...julius jones or willie parker? i was thinking jones initially, but EVERY fantasy site has parker projected higher than jones, even against jacksonville...

I'd probably go with parker just because the steelers are so hard up on running that he will get lots of touches

Receiver is a bit of a toss up. Neither should do extremely well, but even as a diehard Eagles fan, I'd have to say Jacobs is good for 75yd, ~1td, while after watching the Texans game last week at Reliant, Moulds, though the real deal, is still getting his passes from D. Carr. (~75, 0-1td)

Go with your gut on that one and don't second guess

I can have 2 RBs and 2 WRs or 3 WRs and 1 RB

I have Tiki Barber locked in as 1 RB, and Larry Fitzgerald as one WR

My other RBs are Travis Henry (possibly out), Chris brown, and Ron Dayne.
My other WRs are Darrell Jackson and Jericho Cotchery

With the Titans facing possibly the best run stopping defense in the league, and a good possibility that Dayne won't see the field at all, would it be better to use Cotchery as a 3rd WR and not play a second RB?

And for DST... should i use ATL (vs. TB) or Denver (vs. KC)? TB dropped an egg last week, and KC is without Green, both should do well.

^^ I would go with cotchery -- he has more potential to do good in his game. He is at least going to get reps.

Atlanta defense has John Abraham and Patrick Kerney questionable because of injury. They are both starting defensive ends.
