Interesting things happen at Legends....my "straight" friend went there one night and agreed to let someone put roofies in his drink to "see what it was like". Then he went with a group of guys into the bathroom where they all huffed gas off each others' crotches.

I questioned his straightness after I heard this story.

i've been to legends a total of 3 times in my life. the first time, i had no idea what i was getting into. the second time, i was drunk off my ass after going to the saucer and ugly monkey. the third time, i was drunk off my ass after going to the saucer and ugly monkey.

all three times, i didn't pay to get in, and i think all but 1 of my drinks was paid for by other people... so i can't really complain, haha.

the incident he is referring to is the last time i was there, the night before new years' eve. this extremely, extremely hot blond dude with shaggy hair that was slightly shorter than me (i believe his name is eric?) struck up a conversation with me when i went to the bar to get some water near the end of the night. we talked for a bit, and ended up exchanging numbers, and him inviting me to go to wilmington with him for new years' eve, haha. decided against that... but we've texted a few timed back and forth, and we're probably going to the borough or something when he gets back from vacation.

but he's seriously hot, haha.

nah, just went and bought them both in preparation for the weekend. i have a date tomorrow with this really, really awesome guy i met last week, and he's never had decent scotch (or any scotch, for that matter) so i told him i'd change that. plus, we drank the entire fifth of jameson he had the last time we hung out, so i figure i owe it to him.

^^I think I've been to legends more than that (only by 1 or 2 times), many years ago. Even met someone who I dated for a little while, before I ended up meeting my husband on campus during undergrad. It was more fun than some of the other bar/club places in Raleigh at the time.

What are the cool clubs/bars these days?
