People who say that was luck are retards who have never played the game of basketball. Guys in my local league can hit 50% of those shots just in shoot around, and they are nowhere near as good as curry.

All a great shooter needs is time to square up, get a look at the basket, and the opportunity to shoot in rhythm. You people act like this is the first time curry has hit a long 3. He does it all the time and much more frequently than other players.

Um compared to how were were by our 7th game last year...watching the game at on fox sports.

The Pack did a better job of not putting their head down when Davidson made a little run, and McCauley is slowly coming into his old form.

We are a MUCH better team then last season from what is aw on tv, it's just that Davidson is deserving of their #22 ranking.

Remember we we playing the same Davidson team in their backyard and the same team which almost knocked off a juggernaut Oklahoma @ Oklahoma!!

The only reason Curry put up that shot was the shot clock was running down and he knew he wouldn't get the ball back if he passed. Still was a lucky shot and I agree that we were beat by their role players. We focused on Curry and didn't focus on rebounding it is as simple as that.

we got beat by a tremendous player.... that was the greatest individual performance I have ever seen... they almost beat oklahoma earlier this year in oklahoma.... we aren't no where near as good as oklahoma.... we look a lot better than last year (yes, I know we beat them last year)...quit your bitching.... weve got a good shot to knock off Marquette in Raleigh...

^First of all, nice double negative. secondly, just because costner isn't draining threes doesnt mean he's useless. He led us in scoring and REBOUNDS. He had a double-double. He was about the only state player on the floor that was fighting hard for rebounds. Some of you act as if the only way costner is any good is if he is in '07 acc tourney form. Geez.

Costner and Mcauley were both good for us. Smith was too short and getting beat BADLY for rebounds by Davidson going over the top. We were not ready for the physical nature of this team. It was basically curry with a host of white boy thugs who would do whatever to get the ball.

i'd say rebounding was a big problem, definitely. but we were ahead most of this game and fell flat the last ten minutes or so. teams lose basketball games. we actually (gasp!) did plenty of things well yesterday. i was pleased to see williams and mays play competently. despite what many have been saying, i thought gonzalez did a pretty good job -- despite some poor decisions at the end. and i did think that our team hustled quite a bit. we just need to learn how to get a defensive rebound.

The worst thing Lowe could do is follow this guy's^^ advice. Javi had the right ideas. The execution just wasn't there. This is very common for guards learning to do new things. It sucked that this game had to be used as a learning experience, but he absolutely should continue to try to penetrate and dish, shoot open threes, run pick and rolls, etc.

He just needs to calm down. That comes with experience. He got better over the year last year, and it would be dumb to think he won't this year.

The other guys may be a different story.

That's the bad news but it is also the good news. I saw a team that was at least capable of winning games. If we can correct those mistakes we can be okay this season. I didn't say good and certainly not great but we could possibly be okay. We have got to correct those mistakes for that statement to be true though.

This is year three we've been saying this. It's like Amato and penalties. Coach Lowe sucks at coaching. I've not seen any development of the players over the past 2 years.
