I haven't seen either of my parents since Christmas! So Mother's/Father's Day for me is a phone call and nothing more

But they'll be here in like two weeks so we can celebrate all the stuff we missed then!

i missed father's day from 7 - 20 so now we celebrate it cause my brother and i were usually away during june for camp and MAYBE sent a card if we remembered. my mom would usually pack us with one (when we were younger)

went there for brunch yesterday...it's been almost a month

love the new patio...it was my understanding that yesterday was the first day with the new tables and benches...i like that they're smaller than the old ones because now small groups don't take up whole tables

also, had the foothills gruffmeister 8 maibock...i thought it was delicious and the 8% was nice, too

so i went last night and had what i believe is my new favorite beer. i just cant remember the name of it. i know it had a 2 word name and started with a K and the second word started with an F and ended with beir. it was under oktoberfest beer from germany.

^ yea i'm JUST starting to like gin and tonics ever since this mishap my freshman year of college involving gin and mountain dew. college ruined a lot of things for me haha (or i ruined a lot of things for myself in college, whatever). i'd discover something and be like "OMG THIS IS THE BEST THING EVAR" (read: tequila). and then....well and then it turned out NOT to be the best thing ever.

Pint night! Who is in?

Loving the new patio in the Raleigh one but the tables are significantly smaller. It's VERY hard to squeeze four people in on one side.

^^ yeah, they had some left over even on Thursday when we stopped by last week. Never seen that before...
