Just drove home from Saucer about 35 minutes ago and it was fine -- but sleeting/icing now so it'll degrade quickly.

Roads are turrible right now. And anyone who didn't lift up their windshield wipers (ie everyone in my complex) will be a sad panda tomorrow morning.

The problem is the wipers becoming frozen onto the glass after a few minutes the heat from your car should take care of.it.

my stupid wipers are spring loaded

not only does it make it a pain (not really but more so than not) to change the blades, but I can't put them up in situations like this to prevent them from freezing

because warming up the car, using the defrost, 10 minutes before you need to drive it (you know, so it's warm) doesn't work?

because it always has for me

Why inconvenience yourself over the 10 seconds of effort it takes to stand up your wiper blades? It just doesn't make any sense unless you think your car will then become a target for vandalism.
